DIY Beautiful Wedding Photo Albums
As a bride (not too long ago) I know firsthand the importance of having beautiful wedding photos to cherish. As they say, your wedding photos and your memories are what remain after the big day has come and gone. In particular as a lover of photography, scrapbooking and home videos - essentially anything dealing with preserving memories – I wanted to make sure we had our bases covered. On our wedding day we were surrounded by our entourage: our wedding photographer accompanied by a second shooter; our videographer and his second camera person; plus my favorite uncle (an awesome amateur photographer) who came all the way from overseas to be my unofficial third shooter. So, you can say we hired our own paparazzi for the day!
Now that it's been about
a year five years since I walked down the aisle, I've had some time to work on several wedding photo book and wedding scrapbook projects. In addition to photo books, I'd also like to share some ideas on how to incorporate your favorite photos into your wedding related projects including on your big day, and of course what to do with your wedding photos post-wedding.
UPDATE 3/18/2013: Although it's been a few years now, I'm still making wedding related photo books, which proves the point that it's never too late to make a wedding album! I often get emails from brides and grooms who have never done an album and finally want to make one for their anniversary. What's great is the technology keeps getting better and more product options keep popping up so I'll be sure to keep you posted!

I'm not quite done with my wedding photo projects yet - I still plan to do a wedding planning behind the scenes book to include all the pre-wedding day festivities (such as dress fittings, engagement party, bridal shower, rehearsal and rehearsal dinner). As you can see, even a few years later, I still haven't done all the photo books I plan to do, so if you're a little behind like I am, it's never to late to get to these projects! Now you may not be as crazy about photography and photo books as me, but I hope these posts give you some good ideas for your wedding projects! Stay tuned!
