Hope everyone is having a great Labor Day weekend! As for us, my hubby and I have been adjusting to our new full time role as parents and our days and nights are quite mixed up (or should I say that my baby’s days and nights are mixed up!) But we’re hanging in there and trying our best to keep up with the outside world.
In terms of “Photobookland” I just finished a guest book for my little man. I wanted to make an easy and quick book to get myself back into the photo book groove and I started a book with AdoramaPix since they were having a big sale on their 8×8 photo books. Unfortunately, diapers and feedings conspired against my best efforts to finish on time and I couldn’t get the book ordered before the sale ended, but I’m happy with the design and concept and looking forward to seeing the end product. And of course – you’ll get the first peek at my first baby book (besides my shower one of course)!
I’ve also finished PhotoBookBaby’s birth announcements, so lots of fun things to look forward to in the mail this coming week.
I’m also just starting work on my pregnancy photo book/journal where I plan to detail my thoughts on being a mom-to-be and of course to put all those belly photos and ultrasound pics.
In my last weeks of being preggers, I also worked with an awesome fontographer who helped me turn my handwriting into two fonts – one print font and one script font! It turned out great and I’ve been having fun testing it out. How cool is it to put together a journal in your own handwritten font? How’s that for the ultimate in customization? So, I have lots to write about and just giving you a heads up about future posts to come.
On the blogging end, I recently put up a photo book deals post for all of you who are making photo books this weekend and of course I’ve been running this most recent giveaway. It was a lot of fun reading about what kind of books you were all planning to make and I’m really pleased at seeing almost 300 entries! Thanks also to all for the kind messages about my new baby – I wanted to write responses to all of you, but that would have messed up my count for the giveaway! 🙂
