As my one-year wedding anniversary draws near, I wonder when I’m going to feel that I’ve completed my wedding album & wedding photo book projects. I think I’m doing pretty good considering I have a couple girlfriends who have said they haven’t gotten around to ordering their wedding albums from their photographers yet. One of these friends has a child in third grade! Now that’s an extreme case, but I think when you talk to most newlyweds many would agree – the year just flies by.
Having gone through the process of being a bride, I’d like to share some ideas on how to incorporate your favorite photos into your wedding projects – pre-wedding, on your wedding day and post-wedding. As I post each article, I’ll update the list below, and you can jump ahead to any section that interests you:
Part 1 and Part 2 will focus on Pre-Wedding Photo Ideas:
Parts 3, 4, 5, 6 & 7 will focus on Wedding Day Photo Ideas:
Part 8 (and maybe 9 and 10?) will focus on Post-Wedding Photo Ideas:
- Wedding Scrapbook
- Wedding Planning/”Behind the Scenes” Photo Book
- Thank You Cards
- Honeymoon Photo Book (Picaboo Madison Lay-Flat Photo Book) & Apple Aperture 3 Great Barrier Reef Photo Book
Some of you may have read my earlier two-part post: Make Your Own Affordable Wedding Photo Book – A Bride-to-Bride Guide which focused on the four companies I used to print photo books for my husband and me and our families. Since I’m not done yet, I will be doing photo book reviews on a number of new photo book publishers still to come – including at least a couple of lay flat options and one higher-end option. Now you may not be as crazy about photography and photo books as me, but I hope these posts give you some good ideas for your wedding or post-wedding projects! Stay tuned!

Great photo book ideas for capturing those special memories. Creating an album for your luxury honeymoon photos is a great way of preserving and sharing your first holiday together.
