Just a couple shots of my favorite spreads that I’m working on for the FREE Picaboo hardcover photo book that is only available through 11:59 PT August 31st (tomorrow). You only pay for shipping which is about $8.99. Considering that the book is normally $39.99, it’s a great deal.
From tracking all these photo book deals, giving away free hardcover photo books is not the norm – usually only softcover books are offered as freebies by most of the companies, so you should really make one of these – you’ve got today and tomorrow to do it!
You’ve seen me mention it throughout this month and now the end of the month is here and yes, Photobookgirl is working on hers much later than hoped, but it’s almost done.
Here’s one of my favorite spreads. By the way, can you spot the “photo blooper”?
I know it may be a bit small, but here is a closer look…
Yes, I am a decoy – for what I don’t know, but it is funny isn’t it?
My husband loves those blooper reels at the end of some movies where you see all the scenes where the actors or crew have messed up their lines or some part of the set falls apart or whatever. After he took this shot, he started cracking up when he saw the preview in the camera and I had no idea why he was laughing. It’s one thing when it’s intentional, but when it’s unintentional, it’s a photo blooper…
I’m sure you fellow photographers can sympathize with me. You take tons of great shots of your friends and family, taking lighting and shadows into account and making sure only to photograph their “best sides” and at some point in the day, a well-meaning friend or your significant other offers to take a photo of you. And this is what you get. I have a great one of a pitchfork sprouting out of my head if you want to see it!
Happy photo book making!
