I’m posting the winners a bit later than I hoped, but I had a last minute trip that took me out of town for a while (more on that below), but here’s what you’ve been waiting for!
Here are the 4 winners each drawn randomly. Each person will receive a $75.00 credit to Mixbook and a photo book design that I created myself using Mixbook’s design tools.
Congrats to the Winners!

Thanks to Mixbook for sponsoring these prizes! Coincidentally while this anniversary giveaway was running I had the opportunity to meet the folks at Mixbook in person and I wanted to share some of my visit with you!
PhotoBookGirl Goes to Mixbook
Every now and then I have to get out from behind the computer. There’s some significant correlation between Vitamin D and sunlight and more importantly you know how people get weird when they don’t have enough contact with real human beings from time to time. Mainly though, I’ve been so sick of the blustery cold winter we’ve been having in Chicago, I had to get out of town. The 10-day forecasts of unrelenting cold and snow were just too depressing. Last week we booked a last minute trip to anywhere warm and found ourselves in San Jose, California. Since we were going out that way, I decided to drop a line to the folks at Mixbook and they welcomed me on a tour of their Palo Alto headquarters.
Any company that names their rooms after one of my favorite movies is cool in my book. Can you guess which movie this name is from?
Unexpectedly I had the chance to meet Andrew Laffoon – CEO and one of the co-founders of Mixbook and got to talk photo books. (I was so glad to know that he actually makes photo books himself!) Desiree Welke (who helped to coordinate this anniversary giveaway for us b/t/w) showed me around the offices and introduced me to the Mixbook team. Here I am with Leslie Albertson and Desiree of Mixbook’s marketing team checking out the company’s eye-catching mural.
Inspiration boards were everywhere – it was nice to be in a creative environment.
Of course I couldn’t leave without checking out some of Mixbook’s photo books!
It was a really young, fun and creative atmosphere and it was nice to meet people in person! Most of all I got that much needed Vitamin D boost during my visit to sunny California!
For those of you whose entries weren’t drawn – no worries – there are always more giveaways coming up as well as awesome photo book deals updated daily! Here’s a few of Mixbook’s current deals.
