PhotoBookGirl.com is officially 1 year old today and to celebrate I’ve arranged to give you some gifts! We’re really lucky to have MyPhotoCreations once again sponsoring another awesome giveaway!
There will be 8 winners and the prize total is worth nearly $800.00!
Eight (8) very lucky Photobookgirl.com readers will be randomly drawn to win one (1) of the following MyPhotoCreations prizes:
One (1) 20-page 8×8 black leather Anza Flush Mount Photo Album
(two (2) prizes available valued at $249.99 each!)
One (1) 20-page 10×10 lay flat Ashbury Photo Book
(two (2) prizes available valued at $89.99 each!)
One (1) 12×18 Top Bound Photo Calendar w/customizable dates and photos
(four (4) prizes available valued at $19.99 each!)
You may recall last fall I created my first flush mount album with MyPhotoCreations and gave 8 amazing prizes away. The folks at MyPhotoCreations loved the enthusiastic response from Photobookgirl.com readers so much so that they provided me with 8 more prizes and a complimentary 10×10 Ashbury book to review. The Ashbury book is printed on real photo archival 110 lb. cover paper and comes in a glossy or matte finish.
I’ve also been hearing a lot from brides lately, drooling over high end flush mount photo albums – well, I was dying to tell you all about this upcoming opportunity to win your very own flush mount, but I wanted to keep it a surprise. This is your chance!

The free software is downloaded from the MyPhotoCreations site and is very easy to use. I’ve also noticed a new software feature which I’ll tell you about when my Ashbury book is delivered.
In the meantime, you can find my software review here along with my flush mount review.
Here are some shots of my Anza flush mount album (wedding photos by Second Print Productions):

I love photobooks for a ton of reasons! 1- It’s easier and cleaner than scrap-booking, 2- More impressive than just the “insert photo here” 3- Let’s you add your own personal style and flair 4- The feeling of having a “book” is soo accomplishing! 5- I love how I can make one book but then have more than one printed for family and friends! 6- For a business, it comes off as being very professional and careful about appearance, and 7- for me, a photobook just helps me remember, cherish, and appreciate the events that took place.

I Love Photobooks because…
– i dont print pictures unless its for a scrapbook ; bringing digital photos straight to book form is tidier ; less resources are used and is more economical
– the look is very professional – it’s expensive-looking without breaking the bank.
– I’m a graphic designer so i can incorporate elements I’ve created into the book without needing to waste resources on paper/card stock and ink (if doing scrapbooking).
– I can recreate it into however many copies I like. For example, if I took and maybe even compiled photos from my great grandma’s 95th fancy birthday shindig, I can create a book to give to her, and reprint for other family members.
– Every photobook printer have apps that are so easy and addicting to use!
– The end result , no matter how many “mistakes” have been made during layout is always the same: photobooks come with an automatic ooh and aahh – from anyone who sees it. The Glossy pages, the artistry – Photobooks bring out everyone’s passion for beauty.
– back in the old days, to “print” a book meant making a few hundreds or thousands of copies. There had always been the computer printout option, but there’s something about “having it printed” that makes it seem so dignified. Like, surprise, you’re now a published writer/photographer! :))))))

I want to make a beautiful flush mount baby album for both grandmas. I can’t wait to play on the myphotcreations software.
I love keeping track of memories and photos but I wasn’t any good at scrapbooking. Photobooks just make everything so much easier! My one-year-old also looooves looking at photobooks.
I love the ability of photo books to tell a story. Photography is such an accessible medium for capturing moments and emotion. Being able to use those images to create a larger work of art and tell the story of a day, week, or life – it’s amazing!
What I love most about photo books is the customization and ease of transport. I can create whatever I want, for any occasion, and take it wherever I go! Photo books are an easy way for my not so creative side to bloom.

tHANKS IN PART TO YOUR SITE i HAVE FALLEN IN LOVE WTH PHOTOBOOKS, i WILL NEVER BUY A TRADITIONAL ALBUM AGAIN. It is cheaper than albums because I don’t have to print the photos to put them in the album, much more flexible because I can do a variety of layouts and designs, and a lot less time because i can create and order all in one sitting. not wait for printing, go buy book, add photos etc.
I also love that I can incorporate my graphic designs in my photobooks

I love photobooks because it brings the past to the present and helps you hang on to and relive the best parts of life… like the little fingers and little toes…the wrinkles in my nana’s face…the smile on my husband’s face as I walked down the aisle. It gives these cherished moments in life a place to dwell, safely and preserved to be enjoyed and relived and remembered for generations. THAT is why I love photobooks… so I never forget. I love photobooks mainly because they’re so fun to make. But they also allow you to get your photos off your computer and into a book you can look at regularly.
I love photobooks because they make ordinary pictures look professional since they’re in a bound hard-cover book…they always impress the viewer. Plus, when you compare the pricing of the book vs printing out all those oversized pictures AND then having to mount them in a book, the cost is usually very comparable if not CHEAPER. All around, there’s not a single thing I DON’T like about photobooks. 🙂
I just subscribed to your newsletter. My name is listed as Gina Swanson. Can’t wait to start reading what’s in it! This most likely will not help decrease my new addiction to making photobooks.

I just made an additional comment on your blog about getting free photo books. I have a feeling I’m going to be searching through past posts for more great information. 🙂
I love photobooks because nothing can replace a printed photograph. And a good photobook puts many in a single place. With a photobook you can tell a story, entirely through photos… a story that isn’t as apparent when you are looking at just a few photos hanging on a wall. I don’t think that anything will substitute for a good photo book. I have tried putting together iPad albums and it’s just not the same thing!
Great job on this site, PhotobookGirl!!
Just ordered a few wedding photobooks and gave them to our parents as a gift. We’re looking to order another nice layflat book for ourselves! They make such gifts =)
I love that they’re easy to flip through, and bring back the wonderful memories associated with the pictures.
I love photobooks because I can get so creative with them and have a lasting keepsake that will be around a long time to share with others.
i love photobooks because they tell a story. plus it’s a much better way to see my photos instead of scrolling through them on my camera!

I like photobooks because of how they make people feel while looking at printed photos: wandering, imagining, reminiscing…
And it’s a shame to have all of our best memories to be stored somewhere on a hard drive.
I like photobooks beacuse they are unique. They let you tell your own story.
I love that looking in photobooks just brings back all those memories from that time and place. The ones I have are irreplaceable. If our house ever caught fire those are the first things my husband is supposed to grab.
I love photobooks because they give me a chance to tell the story of the trip or event. By adding captions and scanning in memorabilia as well as the pictures, I get to relive the experience through the book every time I look through it.

I love the joy photobooks bring to the recipients whenever they’re given as gifts or the joy they bring the owners when one is made for themselves. I love, love, love photobooks with pictures of my husband and kids.
I love pictures, but they are always just on my computer hidden. The very few photobooks I do have are always out and looked at. They are a clean and classy way to view and keep memories!
Love them!!
I love using photobooks as it is a great way to share the pictures you take (especially when you take as many as I do) rather then pass a stack of photos or heavy books. Also they end up being about the same price as jsut printing the photos but these are able to be different sizes and if done right can tell a story thru images. – Eric

Photobooks are fast, convenient and highly personalized. With so many companies offering them now, the cost is becoming more reasonable every day. I like how I could start a project today and work on it just 10 minutes or an hour at a time, whenever I am free. It’s also cool how you can let friends see your project and add some great ideas too.
I’m a fan of yours on FB. I like Photocreations on FB. I just subscribed to your Newsletter. And my dream is to one day create a fab wedding flushmount album that comes close to yours. 🙂
I love how I can enjoy photobooks with my children as they laugh and remember the funny, awkward, exciting, nervous, memorable, and adorable moments of our lives. Photobooks help me get closer to my children and spend more time with them. They also remind me that by sharing photos, we share our lives.

i love that they are special and personalized
Photobooks are an awesome alternative for the budget-minded bride. I created one to use as a guestbook for my wedding in December that was a hit with everyone. I cannot wait to make several albums for our parents and family members.

I like the creative way to store your memories
Its wonderful to have all your favorite photos in one glamorous photobook. Its sleek, elegant, perfect for your coffee table to show friends and family!
What I love are the backgrounds. this was never possible with “analog” photobooks. another thing i love is that i can resize the photos by zooming. so great.
I love that you don’t have to crawl through hundreds of decent pictures to get to the good ones. Photo books allow you to take your life, your story, and turn it into art to be shared.

I love photo books because they let you tell a story of where you’ve been, whether to other people who couldn’t be there with you, or to relive the memories with them. You put a book together thoughtfully instead of flipping through prints in an envelope and can remember your events and travels with a lot of honor and individuality.
I just followed you on Twitter and Facebook before seeing this offer because I was hunting down a place to do flush mount albums for my wedding in Sept. But I wouldn’t mind making one earlier! Great site.

I love photo books because they are a beautiful way to express yourself and share memories.
I like the creative process of making a photobook. Growing up in a culture that has no idea of scrapbooks, digital photobooks are my first experience. I appreciate the effort people put into each page and that makes digital pictures so much “loved”.

I love photobooks because it’s the best way to intertwine the traditional and modern: you get the tactile feel of a real book while using fast & easy technology to create it! My older relatives love being able to flip through the pages as they don’t like the computer, and I can send it as a pdf to the younger set.
I love photobooks cuz they are helping me keep track of all my pictures. I thought I would get them all scrapbooked, but it ain’t happening, so photobooks help me scrap them.

What do I love about photo books?
For me, it’s like a diary to record every important moment in my life.
I like you on facebook.
Though I like having an actual print-in-hand, I’m also a bit of a (recovering) pack rat and organization is a challenge for me. Photo books allows me to have all my images organized on my computer (or backed up on hard drive). I don’t have to worry about packing up a traditional photo album and prints that would be taking up living space as I put together an album.

I’m glad to have found your website. I’m a former bride and am looking to finally print my wedding photos in a high quality photo book. Photo books are great as a way to preserve the memories and share them with family and friends, especially those who were unable to come for our wedding.
Love photobooks, so I can go back and look at all the photos and relive the moments 🙂
