Hello out there in Photo Book Land! How are all your Valentine projects going?
I know that it can be hard to think of the right gifts, so I put together this list of my favorite Valentine’s Gift Ideas for 2014.
#3. Photo Canvas (Cost: $80 to $100) (b/t/w Groupons can save you up to 79% off!)
This is one of the easiest and quickest gifts you can make. It only takes one photo! You can also opt to make a collage of photos. Here’s my little inspector checking out the canvas I made of his first 12 months.
I have all of the canvas deals here, be sure to check my canvas groupons page for even more special deals. Click here for tips and ideas on how to make your own canvas.
#2. Photo Calendars (Cost: Under $20 to $30)
Yes, I know it’s almost the end of January, but did you know that you can start your calendar any month of the year? So make one that goes from February 2014 to February 2015. For a Valentine twist, enter dates that mean something to you and your Valentine: first date, birthdays, engagement, wedding anniversary, honeymoon. Then add the photos to match! Your loved one will get to enjoy it for a whole year!

#1. Photo Books (Cost: Softcovers: $2.50 to $12.99; Hardcovers: $16 to $20)
You knew my top pick for Valentine’s gifts was going to be a photo book right?
Any photo book you make will be a welcome sight for any recipient, but for Valentine’s I especially like the idea of going small. Several companies make mini to small sized books (usually 2 x 3 inches or 4 x 6 or 5 x 7 in size). Instead of trying to fit your sentiments in a card, why not expand on that a little bit? What’s great about this size is you can just put a single photo on each page for an easy layout and you’re done. Softcover books work especially well and they’re so nice and portable.
This mini photo book from Mixbook is 6 x 4 inches, softcover and starts at $6.99 for 20 pages.
This small book from Shutterfly is 5 x 7 inches, softcover and starts at $12.99 for 20 pages.
Several companies have pre-made templates like the ones above so you’ll be done in no time!
I also recently reviewed the nifty 20-page photo book from Mosaic that comes perfectly gift-boxed and ready to give. It prints and ships in 4 days for only $25.00. (Be sure to check out my $300 Giveaway too! Ends 2/2/14)
Okay, what if you’re the kind of person that likes to make a statement? You can go bigger!
My exclusive FREE Pages promo with MyPublisher is back. You’ll save nearly 70% on a photo book if you use my special code for Photo Book Girl readers and this is one of the best deals they offer – ever!
