Hello out there! I don’t know how it is where you are, but it’s freezing cold here in Chicago and we’re trudging through one of the snowiest winters on record. Hopefully thoughts of the upcoming Valentine’s Day will warm some of us up a bit!
Well here’s something I think you’re all looking forward to – the announcement of the winners in my Mosaic photo book giveaway!
Here are the 12 winners each drawn randomly. Each person will receive a $25.00 credit to Mosiac to make a photo book like mine! I also wanted to share below what the topic of each winner’s Mosiac book would be if they won. There are a lot of fun book ideas and a lot of happy recipients to come!
Danijeka A.
I would make a mosaic book of photos from my field trips in Serbia.
Mariac
I had never heard of Mosaic, it sounds like it would make a wonderful lovely book gift. I would make a book featuring my two nephews playing.
Carol Ann P.
My mosaic book would be about my husband and I through the years:). We have been married for 15 years and this would be a perfect way to preserve our memories.
Whitney M.
I would turn my mosaic photo book into an album of my trip to Florida this spring! I have never been down south before, and am looking forward to capturing many memorable moments
Jill
I would do a book on a trip to Orlando
Marina R.
We just moved from blustery cold Chicago (near Photobook girl!) to rural Oklahoma, a HUGE change…all with a newborn and a toddler! I took TONS of pictures primarily on my phone of the move, and winning this would give me the need to chronicle the journey much more quickly than I would have otherwise. I’d love to try out the Mosaic software and trial how simple it is…with 2 kids now, I have even LESS time to make the photobooks I treasure!
Catherine K.
If I won the Mosaic book, the topic would be my adorable 5-year-old and it would be a brag book for Grandma.
REDRAW – Brooke H.
I would make it of our recent Disney trip.
Lori B.
If I won a photo book, I would make a mosaic of all of the photos of my dad fishing and spending time with my son last summer and give it to him for Father’s Day. It was a very special time for them because the year before, we weren’t even sure my dad would live for another year as he had a severe heart problem. We are so grateful they had that time together and they are very close to each other, so it would mean the world to me. I’d actually probably buy another one so they could each have their own book to remember the special time they shared.
Olja S.
i would make a book with pics from my last summer vacation
Lee Y.
I liked subscribed to your newsletter! If I won, I would make a Mosiac of my new family… My husband, stepdaughter, daughter and myself. Our very first album.
Katie Z.
Definitely my daughter, she is almost two years old and such a ham with the camera! This would make a super cute gift for daddy
Crystal Lee C.
When I found and discovered the Mosaic design I had the concept already in mind. At our recent wedding we had a photobooth and I have been looking for a cute creative, new way to display each of my favorite clips! I think a Mosaic would be PERFECT!

MOSAIC REVIEW
My Mosiac photo book finally arrived safe and sound. It came well packaged in a waterproof bubble-wrapped mailer and also shrink wrapped on the inside. I was glad to see it was well protected from the snow! I’m guessing that the bad weather played a role in its delay as I ordered it on January 23rd and it was supposed to arrive on January 28th. It appears to have gotten to the post office on January 27th and it didn’t make it to my doorstep until February 1st which is several days off schedule. As you can imagine I do a lot of online shopping (a lot of photo books!) and I haven’t had the greatest experience with our USPS – even when tracking is offered. For the longest time the tracking info said I would get the package on January 30th. That date came and went and no further update was given on the USPS site until it showed up on February 1st. I’ve let the folks at Mosaic know and they are looking into it. I’m glad it arrived safely though and I can now give you my review! BOOK CONSTRUCTION
The book comes in a very well designed presentation box. I like the subtle kraft paper type box as I’m a big fan of neutrals. The decorative band sports the company’s logo. Once you slide the band off, the top cover opens up like a book, revealing the nifty 7 x 7 inch book nesting in its box. A bright blue ribbon acts as a tab to lift the book out of the box. Most photo book companies charge for presentation boxes, but it’s a nice bonus that this one comes all ready to go and all ready to gift!
The black cover is sturdy and feels like a vinyl material with a subtle linen texture. The cutouts have slightly rounded edges – a nice touch. You have the option of black or white backgrounds for interior your pages – I chose white.
The interior photos also have slightly rounded corners. The photos printed at approximately 4 x 6 inches in size, which is a good print size. You wouldn’t want your photos to be too small and these are just right. The photo quality was good and consistent and my photos printed clear and true to color. The paper used in the book is 65# (or 176 gsm) MyCoy Silk Cover paper, so roughly converted, the paper is heavier than the typical 100 lb. text paper which is used in the majority of photo books. (Without getting too technical, cover paper is typically thicker/heavier in feel than text paper). The book is stitched bound which should hold up very well. There is a logo in the back of the book (and on the band in the front).
This was supposed to be a Valentine’s present for Photo Book Baby’s grandmother, but I’m not good at holding onto gifts and I decided to give it to her ahead of time and bonus was that I didn’t have to wrap it! She was very happy to see it and she immediately said she would be putting it in her purse to show her friends. In all I really liked the product and how neatly it came packaged. It was very easy and fast to put together and the process was streamlined and intuitive. I liked for once not over-thinking my book making which I have a tendency to do. In terms of turnaround, I think the 4-day to doorstep timeline is a bit hard to meet. But given the bad weather in many parts of the U.S., it still came within a typical timeframe. If you haven’t checked out my recent post, I put Mosaic on my gift recommendation list for Valentine’s Day – however, it would make a nice gift for any occasion.
Congrats to the winners – I hope you all enjoy your books. Thanks to Mosaic for sponsoring this giveaway!

I see my name on the winner list, but no email. I checked my junk folder as well and nothing their either. Has the email been sent yet?
Thanks! So excited!
Sent the emails right after posting the post. I think you should be all set now… Congrats again!
Thank you for introducing Mosaic to us! I created a book for my daughter that included all her kitty pics. It turned out AWESOME!
Your review was really helpful! It was so easy to create. I actually uploaded pics to my phone so I could create the book. It would be nice to be able to create these books from my desktop computer.
Thanks again!
I’m glad you liked it. Yes, it would be nice to be able to make the books on a desktop. I don’t keep photos on my phone for too long and I transfer them off of there pretty quickly.
