Can you believe it’s almost “that” time of year again? I don’t know what brings thoughts of the holidays to the forefront in your house, but this year, Photo Book Toddler (I have to graduate Photo Book Baby to Photo Book Toddler now that there’s a new addition to the family!) made sure to get a head start on his letter to Santa. I kid you not – he’s had it all written up and sealed in an envelope by the front door for at least two weeks now. Just the other day he tried to hand it to the Fed Ex driver and I had to tell my young man that there’s a separate delivery service for Santa!
I guess it’s never too early to plan for the holidays. This time of year I start seeing a lot of deals pop up for custom photo cards. One of my favorite part of the holidays is receiving holiday cards (anything other than bills is great right?) Many of my friends will send greetings with photos of their children. It’s nice to see how big the kids (and pets) are getting each year.
Just like my research into photo books, I’ve also kept up each year with what’s new in custom photo cards. Of course I always check out the deals too! Your favorite photo book companies also often print other custom items such as calendars, canvas prints and cards. As a lover of anything personalized, I’m always on the lookout for new trends and gift ideas. While I was at it, I also secured some exclusive freebies for Photobookgirl.com readers as well! See Freebie #1!

Here are some of my favorites from Mixbook. This one combines two styles I like: the chalkboard look and “year in review” concept. It’s a great way to fill in friends and family on what happened over the past year. Don’t worry if you don’t have something to fill in each section. Mixbook cards are completely customizable, so unlike some companies where you’re locked into a design, you can move anything you like, delete anything you like and easily change fonts, colors, clip art etc.
Square cards are also an option.
Hannukah cards are available too, along with Thanksgiving, New Year’s etc…
Snapfish is also offering 6 FREE 5 x 7 cards! Head over to Snapfish to get all the details.

I am entering the contest for the photo book.
If I was to win I would be able to put together our blessed year of 2015!
Just the other day I thought to myself why I have not done this in the past, Our Review Of 2015!
So this is VERY timely!
Thanks for the awesome chance and I LOVE your newsletter!
I am entering for the photo book contest.
I used your detailed comments to create a Fractal book from another company using my fractals from: https://www.theuntappedsource.com/artist/fractal-mandala-art/1972/gallery/view/
I love the lay-flat page options. Your reviews help the decision making so much easier, thank you. I would continue to make other Fractal books or Art books for family and friends if I win this contest.
