Is Your Photo Backup Process Up To Date? Part 1: Let’s Back Up Our Phones
In two days Photobookgirl.com will turn 10 years old! A decade in cyberspace is like 70 years (kind of like dog years - you know what I mean?) So much has changed since I started this site. If I were starting this site now I think it would be very different because of how the technology has changed. Do you think I should sign up for TikTok? Haha... How Many Photos I Snapped in 2019
This post is going up a little later than I'd hoped but better later than never! At year's end (usually New Year's Eve) I take stock of how many photos I've taken in the past year. In 2019, I took a whopping 26832 photos! Last year my final count was 16692. I took 10,000 more photos in 2019, than I did in 2018! Honestly, I'm quite surprised about that total. But looking … [Read more...]
Having a New Year’s Photo Rockin’ Eve

Now with our the kids settled in and no one awake in the house except for me, I'm celebrating the end of … [Read more...]

How to Start the Year Off Right – A Guide to Organizing and Backing Up Your Photos
Every year around New Year's I take stock of my year in photos. In 2015, I took 9046 photos. That's a bit down from the prior year's 10,613, but still pretty respectable I think! (A few dozen of these photos were taken by a professional photographer for our family photo shoots and some selfies were taken by my talented four-year-old, but the vast majority I snapped myself.) At … [Read more...]

My head is swimming with all the options out there for backing up my photos! To recap, I wrote a multi-part series on "How to Back Up Your Photos".
