Weeks 25 & 26 down, 26 to go!
Here I was all ready to post my Week 27 and 28 photos when I realized I hadn’t posted my Week 25 and 26 yet! I had already created the collage ahead of time and saved it, but because I was trying to be efficient and organized, I forgot. Does that ever happen to you? Duh.
Okay, so here’s a recap of my Week 25 and 26 which would encompass days 175 to 182 of the 365 project. Yes the halfway point!!! I can tell you it’s been hard to get here, with all the summer activities, but now we’re over the hump, so press on!
Just looking at these photos makes me smile and makes me glad that I ventured to do this project. That’s what I love about photos and photobooking – it’s the ability to capture the moment. My hubby and I celebrated our third anniversary and it was our first one as a trio. The photo of us was just before an evening dinner cruise with our families. After we filled up our bellies on yummy food, Photo Book Baby got to experience his first fireworks show. We were afraid he might be scared, but he was just fine and enjoyed it. Yup, just like his mama – he loves fireworks!
The berry fruit tart was also an anniversary treat. It looks so delicious doesn’t it? And what I want to point out is that it was shot with the camera on my iPhone 4S. For those of you doing the 365 project, don’t stress about having to use a “real camera” just go for it using what you have. The key to this photo (and pretty much every photos), is good lighting. This was just plopped down on the kitchen counter. I’m lucky that our kitchen gets a lot of great light. I had to take a quick shot of it as everyone was eager to scarf it down so no time to grab the DSLR!
Well the heat wave in Chicago continues – is it hot where you are too? How are you keeping cool? We’re having a brief reprieve today so I’m trying to enjoy it while I can. I had to take a screen shot of my phone’s temperature reading. The folks at Apple should come out with an icon showing the sun sweating or melting or something when it gets to 100 degrees or higher.
Well, that’s it for Weeks 25 and 26. I should be showing you 27 and 28, but I’ll save that for next week!
Stay in the loop!
