Week 7 down, 45 to go!
Week 7 is a shot of how I spent my Valentine’s Day. A very romantic outing to see the Bulls game with my husband… and my father-in-law… and my father. Yes, I’m being sarcastic when I say romantic. It was more like an early Father’s Day, but it was a good time. We ate a bunch of overpriced food at the stadium, yelled and cheered on the Bulls (okay I was the only one yelling) and enjoyed the excitement of it all. Towards the end of the game, we were on the edge of our seats wondering if we’d pull out a win and get our free Big Macs (whenever the Bulls score at least 100 points and win, attendees get a free Big Mac!) It was a close game, but we prevailed over the Kings (and got our Big Macs!) I try to make it to at least one Bulls game a season. It would have been cool if it were a Bulls/Knicks game, but we bought the tickets before Linsanity erupted.
Of course PhotoBookBaby was on my mind (he stayed home with Grandma). The first thing we did was look for pint-sized Bulls wear. This shot is of the jersey we bought PhotoBookBaby. It’s a bit big, but he’ll grow into it!
I Instagramed this shot as well. I find that any shots I take with my iPhone I often end up uploading into my Instagram app to play around with it. I chose this particular filter as it boosted the saturation. The red of the jersey and red seats and accents in the United Center happened to fit with the traditional hue of Valentine’s Day – so red it is! The background is a little blown out on the right, so I may try to do more with it in Photoshop later.
So, how did you spend your Valentine’s Day?
