Blurb allows you to make your own custom photo books which you can also sell in Blurb's online bookstore. Blurb's books can contain up to a whopping 440 pages (more than most companies that usually max out at 100 pages) with 6 different size offerings in landscape, portrait and square, and in softcover and hardcover options. 5/5/11 UPDATE: Blurb has just added a ProLine to its offerings - including two new paper upgrades from Mohawk, hardcover material options and new endpaper options, all reasonably priced. Unique Features/Tips
- Templates and themes are available, but they can be altered to your taste and saved for future book projects. You have control over full customization of your photo book - you're not locked into a fixed set of templates.
- Blurb also supports PDF upload for designs customized on a user's own design software.
- Cost is determined by the number of pages in your book in groupings of 20-40; 41-80 through 401-440, therefore if your photobook contains 30 pages, you should add up to 40 pages since the price will be the same
- Since pricing is on a grouping of pages and not a per page additional cost, Blurb books are a solid good quality choice and very reasonably priced in comparison with other photo book companies. Adding additional pages doesn't break the bank.
- International users tip - if a coupon code isn't working for you in your country's currency, I've read in a forum that you can change your currency to the U.S. Dollar and the codes should work. Doesn't hurt to try!
